I work as a director of product development and production, head of design, and chief of operations.
I handle designs from idea to fit-approved samples and bulk production. This includes creating technical sketches, specs, bill of materials, and costing charts; as well as material orders and day-to-day communications with vendors.
I establish brand relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors. My network is extensive, so your product can be made just about anywhere in the world depending on the category, volume and price-point you are looking for. I am also able to maintain existing relationships established by brands prior to working together if you already have vendors and factories in place.
I oversee production timelines, managing internal design calendars, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and distribution centers. I create and optimize essential standard operating procedures for creative and product teams from design to production and sales, including sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and retail to ensure a smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Additionally, I work as a producer for events, presentations, photo, video, and media surrounding the products I develop.
Lastly, I oversee operations for brick and mortar retail, as well as wholesale operations.
If you’d like to inquire about working together, please see below for a checklist for new brands, clarity around the services I do not provide, as well as a contact form to get in touch.
NEW BRAND CHECKLIST
As you’re preparing to launch your brand, please make sure you have the following:
RESALE CERTIFICATE
This is a wholesale license required to purchase fabrics and work with factories
TAX ID NUMBER
If you plan to import any fabrics, a Tax ID number is required. Plus for tax purposes your business needs one, so you might as well set it up before you start anything else. You may easily apply within 30 seconds by visiting this link here
SHIPPING ACCOUNT
Please set up a Fedex account with a usable payment method attached. We use this to ship your raw materials where they need to go, as well as send samples and other goods.
BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNT
You will need a business bank account set up to pay vendors and factories properly. If you have set up all of the above, you will be eligible to open a business checking account.
